Why there is no IN-BOX CHARGER?

Apple: The above-mentioned decision has been taken to meet our environmental goals. The company wants to become carbon-neutral by 2030.

Samsung: Changing the world together by 2030!

Me: WOW!!!😮 This means net-zero climate impact by 2030..... But wait, does this actually curtail the use of packing materials?

When you see these boxes from the outside, you may think... Good job Apple you're so deliberate about the environment! 

But when you see things in perspective, you will get to know about the disadvantages.

For example, Person X presently has an iPhone X. When he sees the attractive adverts for the newer iPhone 12 he is more likely to buy the new device with tons of new features. When he charges his new phone with his old charger, it takes a lot of time to fill it up because Mr. X is using a two-year-old charger that doesn't support fast charging. Thus, he'll end up buying a separate charger from amazon. The dispatch box and the new charger's retail box packaging look like...👇                                                                                                                 

Not to forget about the plastics [Bubble wrap] used to wrap these items and the amount of fuel we burn in transporting them.

Now, the box displayed above is ten times larger than the previous year's iPhone boxes. 

Important note: the charging cable that you get with the iPhone 12 doesn't fit the old charger. If you want to buy a MagSafe wireless charger you have to pay extra and for the charging adaptor you have to pay extra again! Companies talk about their contribution toward eco-friendliness but they do not care about the external factors. Companies should figure out a solution for this.

Companies show us that they are eco-friendly by making these kinds of decisions which promotes us to buy their products, which adds a huge amount of profit to the companies. This is how Businesses run. 

My opinion is that companies should use better quality materials and use newer technology to make the accessories more compact. So that they can fit the accessories in the same compact box which they now make.
