Android 12: The Biggest Change in Android OS
Android is a mobile operating system based on the modified version of the Linux kernel open-source software. Market-leading companies like Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Huawei all run Android OS. Android maintained its position as the leading mobile operating system worldwide, controlling the market with a 71.93% share.
This year a new Android version is coming out i.e. the Android 12. This version is packed with new features, improved privacy, and a new user interface (UI).
Android 12 is bringing the "Material You" UI which is all about personalization, which allows the user to customize the looks of their apps. Android 12 is coming first to Pixel devices which are running stock android. Stock Android aka The Pure Android, in my opinion is the sleekest Android UI that I have seen to date.
1) The New UI: The first change that you will notice is in the lock screen. There is a huge clock with the weather widget at the top-left corner. In my opinion, it really looks bold and more modern.
When you unlock your device you notice that the icons are more rounded and elegant. Also, the notification shade is updated which kinda looks like the MIUI notification shade in my opinion.

Next is the new settings page, which is completely redesigned and user friendly.
2) The New Animations: There are new animations almost everywhere in the OS. There's the ripple effect when you select some settings, charging animation, screen-off and screen-on animations, app drawer animations, etc. These animation are still not confirmed (as only the BETA version is available now).
3) The New Widgets and Themes: Android 12 is offering a whole new set of Widgets and Themes. These themes and widgets will automatically adjest the colour based on the wallpaper, this also works for the 3rd party apps. Its a very cool feature.
4) Privacy: a) There are kill switches for microphone and camera which can be turned off from any app.
b) Private Comuter Core: Its a unique space in the OS which stores data like smart replies in the phone itself separating it from the cloud storage.
c) Privacy Dashboard: This displayed the number of times the microphone, camera, GPS, etc is used.
5) New Features: a) Accesiblity floating menu which is very easy to launch selected apps from anywhere on the OS
b) Game Mode: Which allows the user to see frame rate, battery percentage, CPU and GPU performance, etc
c) App Hybernation Mode: Which clears all the data from the unused app and force stops it to add more space and optimised performnce.
d) Fingerprint unlock for private folders
e) Smart Auto-Rotate
f) Improved performance.
g) As mentioned earlier the new widgets, new calculator page, elegant wallpapers, and the accessibility menu.
